you know the kind YouTubers be like “this took me a week to complete”
Alright, anyone that knows me knows it’s no secret that I have a dandruff problem *embarrassing*.
HOWEVER about a month & some change ago, I was introduced to Shea Moisture African Black Soap Shampoo. I tried it and I think it works for me. May have a new staple product, y’all.
With just one lather, my scalp was clean, so that saved time. I may be able to eliminate an ACV rinse in my pre-shampoo cuz of this.
After using it, I didn’t see any signs of dandruff for over THREE. WEEKS. (I was busy traveling & wanted to see how far I could stretch it, lol)
However, I did find the shampoo extremely drying so a good deep condition was very necessary.
If it keeps my dandruff away, I can consider getting Senegalese twists again for an extended period of time. (Maybe I can get those purple twists I been dreaming about!!!!!!) I’ve been avoiding these kinds of hairstyles cuz my scalp tends to show dandruff after like 2 weeks & it’s just not pretty ;(
I plan on purchasing my own bottle and replacing it in my regimen for a little while to see how it goes. I’ll keep y’all posted ^_^
Can you grease my scalp?African American Proverb (via aetholove)
